Early Career and International Experience: My journey in the flooring industry began in my native Croatia. I sharpened my skills as a floor installer, gaining expertise in various hard surface materials. In 2008, I moved to Italy, settling in the picturesque region of La Marche. There, I worked with a distinguished contractor named Davide, after whom my son was named. This period enriched my understanding of European flooring techniques and standards.

 

Transition to the U.S.: In March 2013, I relocated to California, where I founded and managed Cromex Flooring and Bayside Flooring. These companies specialize in repairs and full floor replacements, particularly addressing issues stemming from poor installation practices observed at Home Depot. This experience sparked my interest in the inspection aspect of the flooring business, leading to a focus on enhancing industry standards through education and quality control.
